SCHRADER, Catharina Geertruida (baptised Bentheim, Germany, 14 September 1656 – died Dokkum, 30 October 1746), midwife, wrote an obstetric diary. Daughter of Friedrich Schrader, court tailor, and Gertrud Nibberich. Catharina Schrader married (1) Ernst Wilhelm Cramer (died 1692), master barber-surgeon, on 7 January 1683 in Bentheim; (2) Thomas Higt (died 1721), burgomaster of Dokkum, on 22 February 1713 in Dokkum. She had 4 daughters and 2 sons by her first husband.
