Annual Posthumus Conference 2018: Global Inequality24 mei - 25 mar 2018
In 2018 the Posthumus Institute celebrates its 30th anniversary with a special conference. It will take place on 24th and 25th of May in Utrecht. We invite you to join us and the other Posthumus members for what aims to be an unforgettable event. It is still possible to register. However, we advise you to register quickly, since the registration deadline is set on 7 May.
we proudly present the programme for this year’s Posthumus Conference. Noteworthy are the keynote lecture of Professor Thomas Piketty, the sessions of our own PhD students, and the sessions of our research networks. Last but certainly not least we have not one, but two special anniversary sessions. One focusses on the 30 years of the N.W. Posthumus Institute, and the other one is a joint session of our Research networks.
The Posthumus Institute is very happy to present Professor Thomas Piketty as the keynote speaker at the Lustrum Conference in 2018 (24-25 May, Utrecht). Professor Piketty is a well-known and leading expert on income and wealth inequality, whose Capital in the Twenty-First Century led to a major debate about the origins and consequences of inequality. Professor Piketty will open our Anniversary Conference with a keynote lecture.
A limited number of hotel rooms has been made available to participants of the conference in the Court hotel, the Eye Hotel, and the NH Hotel. The rooms are under option, which means that you must place the reservation yourself.
