You will be involved in the UNICA-project, which stands for “Building a UNified theory for the development and resilience of Institutions for Collective Action for Europe in the past millennium” (see http://www.collective-action.info/unica for the description of the project) as researcher and co-supervisor of two PhD-students to be hired for the project.
As researcher you will be responsible for sub-project 2 of the UNICA-project (www.collective-action.info/subproject-2). This means you will focus on building a meso-comparison of the development of institutions for collective action and their scaling-strategies over time, along the lines as described in the project proposal on the website. As postdoc you will also get substantial possibilities to develop this part of the project independently and to develop other fields of expertise.
As a co-supervisor, you will be involved in the daily supervision of the two PhD-students working within UNICA. You will become part of the ICA-research team which focuses on institutions for collective action and social enterprises, and you will also co-operate with others within the team. You will learn from others working on various types of ICAs, can also transfer your knowledge on the topic to other team members, and develop your coaching and project management skills.
