six visiting scholar fellowships for up to 12 months
to take place in the period 1 September 2014 to 31 August 2016. Outstanding scholars including those on sabbatical leave from their home institutions are invited to apply. Deadline: 23 April 2014
The Max Planck Institute for the History of Science (MPIWG)
seeks a Research Coordinator (to begin on October 1, 2014) to:
- Support the academic management of the Institute
- Assist in the organization und management of research projects
- Supervise the visiting scholar and fellowship program
- Organize workshops and conferences
- Build and cultivate relationships with other national and international research institutions

Freelance docents to lead intellectual walking tours, Amsterdam and Prague

We got our start in Rome a decade ago, and today operate in more than 20 cities, working with over 300 docents, many of whom are university professors, graduate students, or independent researchers.
