Fellowship maritiem-historisch onderzoek Het Scheepsvaartmuseum

Het Scheepvaartmuseum in Amsterdam heeft een nieuwe oproep geplaatst voor het Prof. J.C.M. Warnsinck Fellowship, om maritiem-historisch onderzoek aan de hand van de museumcollectie te ondersteunen.

Het Prof. J.C.M. Warnsinck Fellowship is een eenmalige beurs van maximaal €5,000, inclusief reiskosten. Het fellowship staat open voor (recent of binnenkort) afgestudeerde masterstudenten. De looptijd van het fellowship is maximaal zes maanden, de vroegste startdatum is 1 maart 2026. In overleg kan ook later worden begonnen aan het fellowship, tot uiterlijk 1 juni 2026. Er zal een online informatiebijeenkomst zijn op 30 oktober 2025.

The National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam has opened its new call for the Prof. J.C.M. Warnsinck Fellowship, for maritime historical research relating to objects in the museum’s collection.

The Prof. J.C.M. Warnsinck Fellowship is a one-time stipend of up to €5,000, including travel expenses. The fellowship is open to those who have (almost) completed their master’s degree. The fellowship may last a maximum of six months, the earliest starting date is 1 March 2026. It is possible to postpone the start of the fellowship, in consultation, up to 1 June 2026. There will be an online information session on 30 October 2025.
